Yes, isn’t it great news?! With restrictions having eased, I’m thrilled to finally be able to welcome families back into my photography studio here in Bromley in Kent.

While a cake smash photoshoot is a very different experience from a traditional newborn session, the beautiful memories that I’ll capture for you will be no less special.

1. Personality-packed portraits

A cake smash photoshoot is ideal for any child who is sitting independently and is suitable for children up to around 3 years old.

One advantage that cake smash sessions have over newborn sessions is that being slightly older, your baby’s personality will shine through in the photographs! I can capture this and all their gorgeous baby features in fun-filled images.

You’ll get a variety including images before the smash, during the smash and afterwards too. I have a cute diddy roll-top bathtub and can capture some amazing images of them splashing about and getting clean!

 

 

2. Baby cake smash photography is so much fun!

As a newborn, your baby would naturally sleep through most of their portrait session whereas a cake smash session is a fun experience for them to enjoy.

If they wish, they can dig into their beautifully decorated cake and get as messy as they like! Or we can just capture them looking adorable with the cake and styled backdrop that you choose.
