Our bespoke newborn sessions in Orpington, Bromley, are designed to capture every detail of your precious new bundle of joy. Newborns change so quickly, and the best time to capture these stunning images is when your baby is 5-21 days old. While this age range allows us to achieve those adorable, curly, womb-like poses, we are not limited to it.
Our newborn sessions are entirely baby-led, ensuring that we never rush our tiny clients and always work according to what your baby is comfortable with. Sessions can last from 2-4 hours. We ask that you aim to feed your baby upon arrival at the studio and bring a couple of extra feeds and a dummy if they use one.
Your bespoke newborn session will take place in our warm and welcoming custom-built studio. We’ll discuss your colour preferences to ensure the images complement your tastes and style, creating beautiful artwork for your walls. Our extensive range of props, backdrops, and accessories will be available for you to choose from, and I will assist you in making selections for your session.
We only schedule one newborn session per day, allowing you to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout your time with us in the studio.

Frequently asked questions;
How long will the session take?
Newborn sessions are completely unique in the sense that they are done with each individual baby in mind. We never rush our newborn sessions they are completely baby led. Most are finished within 2-3 hours however some can last up to 4 or only for 1! It’s entirely based around your baby & how they are on the day.
When is the best time to book my session?
The ideal time to photograph your precious new baby is around 5 to 12 days of age. At this age your baby is still very sleepy and flexible, this allows us to safely and comfortably pose your baby in the beautiful, dreamy, sleepy poses that you see throughout our portfolio.
The best time to book in your session is from when you know your due date. I will make a note of it in my diary & when baby arrives you let me know & we schedule in your session. As babies run on their own schedule & can arrive up to two weeks early or late, we only book in 3 newborn sessions per week of each month, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment as we only do one newborn session a day.
Due to the nature of babies arriving early/late we will sometimes have an opening in our diary so if your baby is already here pop us an email as we may be able to fit you in.
Is there anything I need to bring?
You just need to bring yourselves along to the studio & if you’re bottle feeding an extra feed for just incase. Its very warm in the studio & sometimes they’ll need a little top up. If you have any little personal items you’d like to be included in your session feel free to bring them along however we have pretty much everything in the studio. In terms of clothing comfort is your best friend, if you feel comfortable you’ll look comfortable, for colours go for neutral tones, noting too bright that will take the attention away from you as a family.
