Newborn sessions are typically held within the first two weeks after your baby is born. Why? Because during this precious time, babies are usually sleepier and easier to settle, allowing us to capture those adorable, curly poses you’ve seen in my portfolio.

I completely understand that getting out of the house so soon after giving birth can feel daunting. That’s why my studio is designed with you and your family in mind.

From a comfy sofa for you to relax on to a lovely warm atmosphere, I’ve thought of everything to make this experience as stress-free as possible. You have space where you can simply enjoy the moment while I take care of the rest.

Tiny Toes and Sweet Poses

The magic of a newborn session lies in the details—the little fingers, tiny toes, and serene expressions.

If your baby drifts off to sleep after a feed, we’ll start with those classic, peaceful poses. I’ll guide you to prepare your little one by undressing them down to their nappy, wrapping them snugly in a blanket, and giving them cuddles. From there, I’ll use a variety of props, colours, and setups to create timeless, beautiful images.

Every moment of the session is baby-led. Their comfort and happiness come first, so we take breaks for cuddles, top-up feeds, or even just a quick change in position to keep them content.

With over 12 years of experience, I’ve developed a natural instinct for capturing your baby’s essence. I also regularly train with leading photography mentors to ensure every session is safe, comfortable, and memorable.
