Little Miss E's Newborn Session

This absolute beauty was a dream little client for her newborn session. Her Mum got in touch when she had arrived to book in her session as she hadn't pre-booked, I (almost) always have some extra space each month as babies come when they want as we know!

Am I glad she did book as Little Miss E was the ultimate dream. Mum and Dad wanted some natural relaxed, hopefully awake, unposed ones of her alongside my normal newborn session posing. Lucky for me she absolutely delivered, I even got a little smile! She arrived bright eyed and ready to take it all in... well for a little while ;)

Her session filled me with smiles from start to end. I always say that you're welcome to bring along any small items to make your session unique to you and your family. Mum and Dad brought with them a chocolate lab like their own doggy at home as well as a lovely little hand knitted bear by Nan wearing the family tartan.

This little bear will be something that is treasured as she grows so I'm so pleased they brought it along to star in her session. I used it in a little side sleeper pose with Miss E hugging it and I think you'll agree that it is absolutely adorable! When Mum saw it her first comment was 'Oh my Mum is going to love that".

We used very soft colours for her session, white being our base and adding in some pastel blues and pinks to add subtle bits of colour throughout. Having a colour scheme like this means that the images are perfect for most any room in the home.

This session went so smoothly all the way through well until I wanted to pop her in my little pram. Gorgeous Miss E had other ideas about that! In order to help her relax and settle again we went ahead and done a selection with Mum and Dad, which are just beautiful. So much love can be seen when new parents hold their babies close, its such a wonderful thing to be able to capture for them to see as they grow.

Once I had what I wanted for those I popped her back into my little pram in the hope of getting what I had pictured before she had other ideas. I'm pleased to say I won this min war ;) and succeeded in getting the cutest image of her.
