Do all babies sleep during their newborn session?
Do all babies sleep during their newborn session? The answer is no not always! Thats totally fine though.
Beautiful Miss F came in with her mum for her newborn session. She decided at the start that sleeping wasn't her thing. So I started by wrapping her to keep her from being wriggly & got some stunning awake shots.
I then unwrapped her & caught this beautiful image before giving her some milk & gently rocking her off to sleep. All my sessions are baby led so what baby wants comes first.
Once Miss F dropped off I was able to pose her & capture these gorgeous images for her Mummy & Daddy.
It is important for baby to be sound asleep & your photographer to be trained before attempting to position baby like this.
Miss F slept through the remainder of her session, through the set changes & everything.
Are you pregnant? Would you like more information on our newborn sessions & how we work? Please feel free to contact us here.
