Miss F's Beautiful Newborn Session

This little beauties mummy booked her newborn session whilst she was pregnant. She already knew she wanted a floral, girlie session. Her wish was my command! I adore using flowers in my shoots, even more so when I can use fresh ones.
Having already had the pleasure of photographing Miss F's big brother for his cake smash and was so delighted to be able to capture them together.

Quite literally I could have photographed her all day, she was the perfect little newborn model. So dinky and cute, she slept all the way through. We used shades of pink and peach, as we'd discussed what colours and sets they'd like prior to her shoot I was able to have everything out and ready for their arrival.

I love Tesco's reduced section for fresh flowers for shoots as there's always so much life left in them and plenty for more than one shoot, sometimes even enough to pop in a vase indoors! My partner had recently made me some mini rustic barn doors for using in shoots and when asked for flowers I knew I needed to incorporate them too. I have a little vintage wooden chair (official vintage, it was my nans when she was a little girl ;) ) and the perfect pastel bucket to tie it all in.
I put it all together and just fell in love with how it looked, what do you think...?

With all mums that have a new addition to the family their main photograph they want for at home is their babies together. They are actually some of my favourite to capture. We were lucky though as Master O was an absolute superstar. He loves his baby sister so much so was happy to have pictures together.

I think you'll agree that these two look to have the start of an amazing bond! How well does this poem sum up a sibling relationship;

Little Sister – By Wend Silva

“My sister can be annoying, everything I do she wants to do it too. It’s hard to have a little sister who wants to be like you. She follows me around the house and wants to play pretend. “I’m too big for that” I say but I’ll always be your friend. “Go away and play” I have important things to do. Then before I knew it, my little sister grew. I remember so many great times we shared and wish that we had more. Creating wonderful memories that will withstand time, that’s what friends are for."

We rounded Miss F's session up with a beautiful peach set up in a bowl with some delicate little flowers. The final being some gorgeous family images.

Aren't they a gorgeous bunch!

Thank you all for such a great session. It was so good to see you all again and a pleasure to capture your beautiful new baby girl.
